I'm not an experienced or trained cook. I'm just a girl entertaining herself in a kitchen.
The purpose of this journal is to archive the simple recipes I create for the sole purpose of tantalizing my own senses, and [hopefully] the senses of anyone who would like to try these concoctions. Dig in at your own risk. =)
My recipes fit with my own [active] lifestyle, so:
~they are devoid, as much as possible, of unhealthy fats
~there is an emphasis on fruits, vegetables, and vegetable proteins
~there are minimal breads and grains, as 90% of those foods in my diet are eaten only in the morning
~the ingredients for these recipes are, as much as possible, fresh and organic
~the portions are on the small side [since I eat 5-6 meals per day]
~the recipes have built-in shortcuts whenever possible, so they are easy and quick to prepare
~there are no flesh foods or animal products of any kind in these recipes
I will not be here posting recipes every day... just whenever I happen to create something new and then have the time to write it down here.
